He is such a gorgeous whale! He wasn't interactive, but I loved watching him, nonetheless. I waited in UC for a DWS to start and about a half hour after it began, he showed signs of a trainer being up there, a huge relief for me, who was about to walk out.

I had a lot of trouble editing these two shots. I ended up using "levels" for both, and didn't care too much for the outcome since it seemed to create a grainy, harsh feel. If anyone is an expert photoshopper and can help me get him to "pop" out of the blue, I'd really appreciate it! There's a b&w version of this one as well. If you'd like to see it, let me know. I couldn't stand this to be in black and white, so I edited the colors as best I could.

This is my absolute favorite UC shot of him. I'm so happy I caught this!

Wow, that is a great shot of him! I've never seen on of him like this with his mouth open... shows some personality the likes of which doesn't normally translate in photos... fantastic capture!!!

I love his 'expression'! Awww what a cutie. I really light the water being stirred about his dorsal fin.

I find that levels doesn't work so well when dealing with underwater photos, just because unless you overexposed the image, there is no true white. When there is no white, it tends to blow out the highlights into a really light greenish/blue colour.
I'd stick with curves for this one, make the darks darker and highlights lighter.
I did the same thing as before with the soft light and screen layers, may have overdone it a little bit though. Then I toned down the blue. [link]

Tilli's expression is gorgeous! I've never seen him with a 'smile', except for on the slide out - it's definitely great to see!

Levels aren't that great when it comes to UC shots. Like bubblywums said, you can't get any true white without overexposing the image.

But otherwise, the image is fantastic! :)
